These are some of the most attractive and comprehensive flashcards made so far for the English Raven site. The "Around the World" flashcards depict 133 countries divided into 8 general regions. Countries are shown according to their map and their national flag (superimposed behind the map lining), and the card backings are color-coded to provide hints as to what part of the world the country is situated in.
These cards will make great supplements for Content-Based learning (especially Geography and Politics for slightly older aged children), and can form the basis of projects and fact-finding assignments!
Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to format these files into Adobe PDF without creating massive files that would take forever to download. They are available from the Members Download Page in Microsoft Word format only.
