Sites For Teachers - A massive listing of teacher resource sites covering all subjects and disciplines.  Sites are listed according to popularity and each listing includes a summary of what you will find on the site.

Teach-nology.com - Similar to Sites for Teachers, with a slightly different format.  Worth a look!

TESALL.com - A really useful site that features all the latest TESOL-related news and job offerings. A lot of care and thought has gone into this site to make it truly useful for teachers and the industry in general. It also has a really powerful search facility that allows you to find EXACTLY what you're looking for in the TESOL world.

Dave's ESL Cafe - The absolute "hub" for EFL and ESL on the internet.  This is where you go to find all the general English teaching jobs, discussion forums and the most comprehensive links/web-guide for EFL/ESL teachers and students.

Larry Ferlazzo's Websites of the Day (for teaching ELL, ESL & EFL) - A truly outstanding blog for language educators, with constantly updated new resources, ideas, links and commentary. Once I started reading this blog, I found it very hard to stop - it's top notch!

Footprints Recruiting - An ethical employment agency, stressing an honest and timely communicative approach to ESL teacher placement.  The guys running this company are very experienced and well-traveled and I've heard first-hand reports from both teachers and employers verifying their honesty and professionalism.

GenkiEnglish - One of the best sites on the net for teachers of English to young learners in North-east Asia (particularly Japan and Korea).  There is a huge range of resources including flashcards, worksheets, game ideas and a whole curriculum for teaching English in primary/elementary school settings.  Definitely worth a look!

My English Images - A newish and interesting resource site from an English teacher in Japan who also happens to be a very talented illustrator! Pictures are really useful for helping language learners, and if great visuals from a teaching and learning and perspective are what you are looking for, this site is definitely worth a look!

Learn English Online - Free, comprehensive ESL site with a host of resources for students and teachers of English.  A totally amazing site, with free interactive activities and communicative tools including video - watch this site, as I think it will really go places!

Royalty-Free Clipart for Foreign Language Teachers - A project directed by Kazumi Hatasa (Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Purdue University).  These images are simple but appealing line-drawings, easy to download and use, and excellent for depicting concepts for foreign language learning.

Free English Lessons Online (from esolcourses.com) - Wonderful resource, tons of great lesson materials to download and print, and I like the clear organization presented in the main menus on the front page. They also appear to be adding a lot of materials on an ongoing basis.

TEFL.net - Teacher Training, Teacher Forum, Lesson Plans, Classroom Handouts, Articles, TEFL Jobs, TEFL/TESOL Web Guide - and a whole lot more.

TEFL.com - Probably the most professional TEFL/TESOL employment site on the worldwide web.  Listings for schools are very thorough and well laid-out, and there is an instant currency coverter attached.

Englishclub.com - Communities for EFL/ESL Students & Teachers.

English Box - A great English Resource Site from Germany, featuring children's books, songs, rhymes, thematic units, tales/stories and a great links index.

ESL Basics - An interesting new resource focusing on video tutorials. Something I've thought of adding to English Raven at some stage, but these folks have already done it and done it well! I particularly like the TESOL videos, very good for new teachers or teachers looking for a fresh perspective or reminders!

Nellie's English Projects - Content based lessons designed to provide students and teachers with clear instructions on how to write and present research papers. Students are evaluated for the process as well as for the final product. The site provides evaluation rubrics and clear instructions on how to do the projects. The topics are WebQuest tasks.  This site just keeps getting better and better - highly recommended!

Finchpark Publications - Dr. Andrew Finch.  Links to 15 full on-line English coursebooks complete with detailed teacher's guides - free for download for educational purposes. I've been lucky enough to work with Dr. Finch in the English Education Department at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Korea, and he's one of the most talented and generous ELT professionals out there!

ABC Teach Network - A quality educational site offering free printable theme units, word puzzles, writing forms, book report forms, math, ideas, lessons and much more.  A hugely popular site (with good reason!)

First School - Free preschool and kindergarten resources.  Lesson plans, themes, printable crafts, activity worksheets, coloring pages, holiday and events calendar.
