Making sentence building materials is certainly not an 'art form' or anything, but it does require some careful thinking in terms of how the lesson is going to help establish grammatical patterns for students and drive their interlanguage development. A standard sentence building grid ready for teachers to write their lessons into. These grids feature up to six 'sentence slots' and up to four 'option boxes' for each slot.
This sentence building grid has up to eight sentence slots but no picture frames. Recommended for slightly older children who may be studying multiple clause sentences. This template is also an effective material builder for TOEFL structure practice.
